There are two confirmed individuals in the preserve. This elusive female was captured with a camera trap. 

These slow, docile giants are one of two truly venomous lizards in the world. They feed on rodents and eggs.

The Cantil is one of 21 species of snakes in the area. They play a crucial role in the lives of many mammals and birds. 

Amphibians are dying worldwide due to disease and climate change. The preserve is still considered untouched.

Our 2016 survey found 22 species of bats on the preserve, including this Lily's Yellow-shouldered Bat.
